Thank you to everyone who showed their support in our pledge drive for the World Wildlife Fund! We were able to blow our modest goal of $130 out of the water with a total of $430 in pledges raised prior to this year's Vancouver Triathlon.
"Yesterday was one of the coldest days of the summer in Vancouver, Canada" said AvenaPro's President, Tim Yewchuk, who endured the cold, wet climate in this year's Olympic distance triathlon. "I was inspired to see the tremendous support in our drive for the WWF, and it made all of the hard work well worth it!"
Tim Yewchuk finished the triathlon in 28th place with a time of 2:23:33.
